Organic Tomato Seed

Each packet of our Certified Organic Tomato Seed has approximately 60 seeds. Each plant produces approximately 15-pounds of fresh tomatoes.

Tomato seedlings are generally started indoors. Seeds should be started 9 weeks before your transplant date. Temperature should be between 70-90°F. Under ideal conditions it takes 7-14 days for germination. Plants can be transplanted once the soil reaches 50F or the nighttime temps stay above 45F.

In order to grow the healthiest; best tasting tomatoes, the pH level of your garden soil should be 5.5-6.8, with the ideal tomato soil being 6.5. A soil tester will take the guess work out of determining the pH levels. We also suggest heating the planting bed prior to transplanting by laying out plastic mulch and then planting through the mulch to increase growth. Tomatoes love it!

All of our Tomato seeds are OPEN-POLLINATED unless otherwise specified as a HYBRID. All of our organic been seeds are non-GMO!

Our Organic Woodle Orange Tomato Seed has got a somewhat weird, though rather fun name; but no amount of research turned up where the name actually comes from. In Germany it is an exclamation of excitement, while it is also the name of a Welsh Terrier/ Poodle cross. I think we’ll go with the German definition since this is an exciting orange heirloom that has proven to have brilliant color, blemish-free skin, flawless shape and sweet, complex, just-the right-amount-of-tartness flavor. Each golden orb will weigh between 10 and 16-ounces and will dress up a salad or sandwich like nobody’s business! Approximately 60 seeds per packet.

Organic Yellow Stuffer Tomato Seed

Price $2.86

Our Organic Yellow Stuffer Tomato Seed produces sunny yellow tomatoes that very closely resemble a bell pepper. Having a central seed core, similar to a bell; thick walls, as do some bells and 3 or 4 lobes, just like a bell pepper, the flavor will tell you that this is definitely a tomato, not a bell pepper. In fact, you can do so much more with a stuffing tomato than you can a bell; serving them hot or cold with any number of stuffings, such as tuna salad, chicken salad, seafood salad, rice and beef, macaroni and cheese…you name it! Approximately 60 seeds per packet.
