Organic Parsley Seed

Each packet of our Organic Parsley Seed has approximately 700 seeds. You can expect to harvest approximately 1-pound of fresh parsely for every 10 plants.

Parsley seed is most often grown indoors in planters, but can also be planted outdoors in an herb garden. Parsley seeds are slow to germinate, so give them a little boost by pouring warm water over them and letting them stand overnight before planting them.Parsley is very hardy and can be direct-sown in the garden 2-3 weeks before the last spring frost.

Organic Dark Green Italian Parsley Seed produces what is considered to be one of the best flavored varieties of Parsley. Fully grown the plant will produce plain, celery-like leaves that are flat, glossy and dark green. Dark Green Italian is excellent for drying and for use in the kitchen, either fresh or dried. A biennial, most often grown as an annual, the aromatic, bright green leaves retain their color throughout the season. Organic Triple Curled Parsley Seed produces a biennial herb that will produce abundant, frilly bright green leaves with compact growth—to about 12-inches tall. This variety is most commonly used as a garnish but also adds terrific flavor and nutritional value when cooked into soups, stews, meat and vegetable dishes, or chopped fresh for use in salads or sprinkled over nearly any food for additional flavor and color. It’s one of the main ingredients in Tabouli, a Middle-Eastern cold salad made with fine bulgur or cracked wheat and chopped tomatoes.
