Asparagus Knife

Use the Asparagus Knife to cut the asparagus spears when they are 4 to 10 inches long. To prevent the asparagus spears from becoming fibrous, harvest at least every other day.

For best results

Use the Asparagus Knife and cut the spears 1 to 2 inches below the soil level.
Never cut the asparagus spears within 2 inches of the crown to avoid damage to the developed buds.
Never cut the asparagus spears above the ground and allow the stubs to remain.
Discontinue harvesting when the diameter of the asparagus spears becomes less than 3/8 of an inch.
